Landscape Lighting
Low-voltage LED lighting for paths, steps, trees, and the front of your home.
Your Yard After Dark
Lighting adds curb appeal, makes steps and paths safer, and lets you use the yard long after sunset. We design lighting with the rest of the landscape, so fixtures are placed where they do the most good and wiring is hidden before patios and planting go in.
Path & Step Lights
Safe footing on walkways, steps, and slopes.
Tree & Plant Uplighting
Highlight trees and planting for depth at night.
Architectural Lighting
Light the front of the home for curb appeal.
Patio & Wall Lights
Soft light for seating, dining, and seat walls.
Timers
Automatic on/off timing so lights run when you want them.
Prewire
Wiring placed during construction for easy future additions.
How We Install Lighting
A lighting system is only as reliable as its connections and transformer. We build ours to last.
- Commercial-grade components, with metal fixtures preferred over plastic
- Metal transformer sized so the system runs at no more than about 80% capacity
- 12/2 low-voltage wire with sealed, waterproof connectors
- 2-year warranty on parts and materials (bulbs and owner changes excluded)
See all of our construction standards on our How We Build page.

What Affects the Cost
Every yard is different, so we price each project after a site visit. Your proposal lays out options so you can choose what matters most.
Lighting FAQs
Can lighting be added to an existing yard?
Yes. It is easiest during construction, but we can add lighting to existing landscapes with careful trenching.
LED or halogen?
LED. It uses far less power and lasts much longer than older halogen bulbs.
Can I control the timing?
Yes. Our transformers include a timer or automatic option, and we show you how to use it.
Do I need an electrician?
A standard outdoor outlet is usually all a low-voltage transformer needs. New 110v circuits are handled by others when required.
